Spring 2011
With the arrival of Spring, we've begun the fieldwork for a long-planned project in the Welsh borderlands centred on Hay-on-Wye and Clyro and revolving round the walks of the Victorian diarist, the Rev. Francis Kilvert. The image above shows the second reduction of the second image in the series of approximately twenty-four images of the countryside and settlements mentioned in Kilvert. We are planning an exhibition and ultimately an illustrated book based on our interviews and long-term fieldwork and sketching in the area which is commonly known as Kilvert Country.
